Unsaid Gifts is run by Ergyn P. Contact: support@unsaidgifts.com
There are no accounts and no sign-in. What you do here stays in your browser. Our server keeps a short log of requests, with no IP address in it.
Below is all the data. It says where each part lives, how long it stays, and who sees it.
In your browser
These are saved in your browser for this site. They are never sent to us. They stay until you clear this site's data in your browser. Settings, then Reset, on the full scenes page clears only the umg_pro_ ones.
| Name | What it holds |
|---|---|
umg_moments_done_v1 | How many 30-second moments you have finished, and which one was last. It picks your next moment. |
umg_intent_v1 | Your answer to a question we no longer ask. It is deleted the next time you use Quick practice. |
umg_daily_done_v1 | The date you finished today's moment. |
umg_pairs_v2 | Up to 200 moments you played. For each: which one, if it landed, what you tried, how they reacted, and when. No text you typed. |
umg_pairs_v1 | An older version of the list above. It is deleted the next time you use Quick practice. |
umg_spine_v1 | Up to 500 records of lines you wrote, notes on them, and if they worked. Typing is off in this version, so nothing new is added. |
umg_anon_id | A random ID made in your browser to label the records above. It is never sent anywhere. |
bridge_onboarded_v1, bridge_tutorial_v1, umg_response_mode_v1, umg_produced_count_v1, umg_nudge_shown_v1 | Settings for the AI practice. It is off in this version, so these are not set. |
umg_pro_mode | Your hints setting: full, after or none. |
umg_pro_sessions_completed | How many full scenes you finished. |
umg_first_visit_v1 | The date of your first visit, so a visit can be counted as "a first visit" or "back after so many days" (see Daily counts below). It never leaves your browser. |
umg_last_counted_v1 | The last date a visit was counted, so each day counts once. |
umg_next_time_v1 | A line you chose to keep for a real conversation, the scene it came from, and, once you answer, whether you got to say it. Only if you choose to keep one. |
umg_family_style_v1 | How your family talks (plainly, indirectly, or formally with elders), if you set it. Sent with a typed reply so it's read fairly. |
umg_own_words_code_v1 | A private test code, only on the founder's and testers' browsers while typing is being tested. |
umg_pro_played_moves | Up to 500 replies you picked in scenes. For each: the scene, the skill, how it landed, and when. |
umg_pro_notebook | Moves you saved, with the line you saved: the scene's own words, or yours if you typed it. |
umg_pro_transfer_intent | The last line you saved to try, and if it worked. |
umg_pro_practice_time | An old setting, now removed. If it was saved, it is deleted when you next open full scenes. |
umg_pro_last_bucket | The skill group you played last. |
umg_pro_phase_placement, umg_pro_diagnostic_done | Where you chose to start, and that you chose. |
umg_pro_spaced_dismissed | Review prompts you have dismissed. |
umg_pro_reminder_next | Not set by this version. Reset clears it if an older version set it. |
umg_pro_player_name, umg_pro_player_gender, umg_pro_player_avatar | Read if present. Nothing in this version sets them. |
On our server
Request log. For each page you open, we log which page, when, the result and a number. We do not log your IP address. We log a visitor tag instead. It is a scrambled code that changes every day. The key that makes it lives only in the server's memory. It is replaced each midnight (UTC). So a tag cannot be turned back into an address. Tags from different days cannot be linked. We do not log your browser or the page you came from.
The log is written to our host, Fly.io. Fly.io's log search keeps app logs for 7 days (Fly.io logging documentation). We do not copy the log anywhere else.
Abuse limits. To stop one visitor from overloading the site, the server counts requests per IP address. The count lives only in its memory. It is never saved to disk. It lasts at most one day, and is lost when the server restarts.
Database and cost log. The server has a database and a usage log for the older AI practice. It is off in this version, so nothing is written to either.
Daily counts. To learn whether practice here is useful, we keep daily totals, nothing more. Each day we add one for each browser that visits, with how many days have passed since that browser's first visit (for example "first visit" or "back after 7 days"). Your browser works this out from the first-visit date it keeps, which it never sends. We also add one for each 30-second moment finished, each full scene started and each full scene finished. A total has a date and a number, nothing about you: no ID, no address, no words. Nothing is counted on the help page. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing is counted and nothing is stored.
Did you get to say it? At the end of a scene you can keep one of your lines for a real conversation. It stays in your browser (umg_next_time_v1, above). When you come back, we ask if you got to say it. If you answer, we add one to a count on our server, for example "said it, went well". The count has no line, no scene, no date and nothing about you.
When you type your own reply
Typing your own reply in a scene is being tested, and is off for visitors. When it's on, this is exactly what happens.
- Where your words go. To our server, and from there to Anthropic, whose AI reads your reply and plays the other person. They're used for that one reply.
- What we keep. Not your words. We don't store them and we don't log them. For each reply we write one line to an operations log: when, which scene and which moment in it, your hints setting, how many characters you typed, what the safety check found (for example nothing, or a reason to pause the scene) and whether its AI answered, how the reply read (for example "toward" or "away"), whether the AI's line or the scene's own line was shown, what the reply cost us and how long it took. We also keep the day's total spend, a date and a dollar amount, so the feature switches off when it reaches its daily limit.
- What Anthropic keeps. Anthropic deletes what we send and what it sends back within 30 days. It can keep them longer if they're flagged under its usage policy (up to 2 years), or if the law requires it. It doesn't use them to train its AI. (Anthropic Privacy Center: "How long do you store my organization's data?" and "Is my data used for model training?", read 15 October 2026.)
- If you seem to be in danger. If what you type suggests you might be hurt, or that someone is hurting or controlling you, the scene pauses and shows you the help page. Nothing about it is saved.
- In your browser. The conversation in a scene stays in that tab only while you play it, and is cleared when the scene ends. A line stays only if you choose to: by saving it to your notebook, or keeping it for a real conversation (both listed above; what the follow-up counts).
Other companies involved
- Fly.io hosts the site in Virginia, in the US. Its network gets every request, with your IP address, to send you the page.
- Anthropic makes the AI for typing your own reply (being tested, off for visitors; what's sent and kept), and for the older AI practice and practice builder, which are off. While these are off, nothing is sent to it.
All fonts, images and code come from our own server. No page asks another company for a file.
What we don't do
No cookies. No analytics. No ads or tracking pixels. No accounts. We don't sell or share data. Apart from the in-memory request counts above, we keep nothing that could identify you.
Your choices
To remove all of it, clear this site's data in your browser. To clear only full scenes, use Settings, then Reset, on that page.
